Healthcare Partnership Network event: day 2

It is the second day at the Healthcare Partnership Network event hosted at Oulton Hall in Leeds. The event has proven to be productive, relaxed and very well organised. The second day of the event was opened by Jonathan Lofthouse – Director of Improvement at Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Darren Curry – Chief Digital Officer of the NHS Business Services Authority spoke about how they have recently leveraged the use of Artificial Intelligence to reduce call volumes with an aim to enabling call agents to support those users who require more support. Taz Aldawoud, Digital Clinical Champion, Operations and Information Directorate at NHS England spoke about supporting patient centred care through digital technology in Primary care. Anas – CEO of Patchwork and Rachael Smith – Project Co-ordinator of Patchwork presented a case study from Aintree University Hospital NHS Trust about the Digital Transformation of the Medical and Bank Staff.

  • “How to build a medical staff bank: from zero to hero in just 12 weeks…” by James Foxlee – Founder & Chief Executive and Richard Palmer – Head of Customer Service of Circular Wave.
  • And the panel discussion “What makes an NHS organisation CQC Outstanding?”
