TensCare – Europe’s largest provider of TENS machines worldwide and a pioneer of innovative pain-relief solutions for labour and maternity – has extended their maternity and parental range by launching a new range of breast pumps.
Tried, tested and developed with mums, the new TensCare Nouri Breast Pump range offers an invaluable aid to stimulate milk production for initial difficulties of breastfeeding, providing mums with extra support during the first months of motherhood.
Available in three different models, the breast pumps are the latest addition to TensCare’s famous line of TENS maternity products and have been developed to support mums from childbirth through their maternity journey.
The range includes a manual breast pump that can be used on-the-go; an electric breast pump designed with a host of innovative features to make breast pumping quick and easy; and an automatic, dual breast pump allowing users to express milk from both breasts simultaneously.
Lisa Slavova, Sales Director at TensCare said: “Our Nouri range is designed to complement our current product range of maternity TENS devices. We have been in the business for many years and have worked with mums during the most important times of their lives – childbirth. We believe we are trusted and positioned to continue our care and are delighted to launch our new range of breast pumps, providing extra support to mums during their maternity journey and offering a quality product that can help make breastfeeding more effective and comfortable.”
Breast milk is recognised as the ideal food for newborns and infants, supplying all the nutrients needed for healthy development. It contains antibodies to help protect infants from common childhood illnesses, such as chickenpox as well as supporting a healthy weight. Additionally, there are numerous benefits for women who breastfeed, for example a reduced risk of breast and ovarian cancers.[1]
However, the UK still has some of the lowest breastfeeding rates in the world. In the UK, eight out of ten women stop breastfeeding before they want to. Problems such as inability to latch and discomfort are often cited as reasons for early cessation.[2]
The TensCare Nouri range is designed to offer mums a comfortable experience, helping to eliminate some of the common issues of breastfeeding.
Lisa adds: “We worked with mums during the development process to ensure our new Nouri range offers everything mums are looking for in a breast pump and more, making it easier than ever to focus on their baby while they effortlessly, quickly, and quietly express milk.”
Designed to gently stimulate milk flow through the gentle massage cushions, the Nouri Pump provides a manual breast pump that is compact for on-the-go use. The product is equipped with a range of unique features, including an ergonomic handle featuring a soft coating for easy grip and less hand fatigue during use, while the soft silicone and the special finish of the bell ensure delicate contact on the breast skin.
For more frequent use, the Nouri Auto electric pump has been developed to make breast pumping quick and easy, providing a convenient alternative. The pump has three different modes offering users 8 suction forces, ensuring pumping is comfortable and effective.
Lastly, the Nouri Duo breast pump provides an automatic, dual breast pump allowing mums to express milk from both breasts simultaneously. Nouri Duo has been designed to provide optimal comfort and performance using a host of innovative features, including a built-in rechargeable battery and integrated lights for both day and night, as well as adjustable modes, suction forces, and pumping frequencies ensuring comfortable and quick pumping.
