Please welcome our new Health Tech Advisory Board Member: Dr Ayesha Rahim

Please welcome our new Health Tech Advisory Board Member: Dr Ayesha Rahim, Chief Clinical Information Officer and Deputy Medical Director at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Ayesha Rahim is Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) and Deputy Medical Director in the north-west of England, and has worked in the NHS for over 15 years. In her role as CCIO she is responsible for developing and delivering on the trust’s digital strategy from a clinical perspective, and also sits on the Digital Health Board of her Integrated Care System. She is a graduate of the first cohort of the NHS Digital Academy and is a member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics. Her interests include clinical engagement in digital transformation, professionalisation of clinical informaticians, and the representation of BAME women in the digital health sphere – Ayesha is a founding member of the Shuri network which is a network for all women of colour who are leading, involved with or interested in digital health and tech in the NHS including CNIOs, CIOs and CCIOs as well aspiring leaders.

As one of our Health Tech Advisory Board Members, Dr Ayesha Rahim will be judging the Health Tech Digital Awards and advising on new and innovative technology.
